Football Game Preview: Boyne City Ramblers vs. Charlevoix Rayders + How To Watch

The Boyne City Ramblers will head out on the road to square off against the Charlevoix Rayders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Boyne City 12.9, Charlevoix 6.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Boyne City's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 28-0 victory over Morley Stanwood. Given the Ramblers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Mohawks are ranked 445th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, on Friday Charlevoix's undefeated season almost came to an end. They had just enough and edged out Mancelona 15-12. The 15-point effort marked the Rayders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Charlevoix's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Boyne City, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Boyne City strolled past Charlevoix in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a score of 43-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ramblers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
