Soccer Recap: Northside Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Northside's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let the Hubbard Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Northside wouldn't have won without Phoebe Phonwiang, who scored the game-winner.

Northside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5-2 record this season. As for Hubbard, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Northside will head out on the road to take on Amundsen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Amundsen will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Northside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hubbard, they will face off against York at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
