Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Caleb Ng and Joshua Ng Lead Hall to Victory

Hall played in-conference for the first time on Monday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Simsbury Trojans. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Hall was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 24-26, 25-23.

Leading Hall to victory were Joshua Ng and Caleb Ng. Joshua had 24 digs and three aces, while Caleb had 14 digs and one assist. The dominant performance also gave Joshua a new career-high in assists (four).

They weren't the only good server: Hall was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Hall's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Simsbury, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Hall will venture away from home to face off against Enfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Simsbury, they will welcome Windsor at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
