Basketball Recap: Mt. Baker Takes a Loss

Mt. Baker lost against Nooksack Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mt. Baker Mountaineers lost to the Nooksack Valley Pioneers on the road by a 59-43 margin. The Mountaineers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Mt. Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Nooksack Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Baker will head out to face off against Oak Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Baker is facing Oak Harbor at the right time seeing as Oak Harbor is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Nooksack Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Lynden Christian at 5:40 p.m. on Friday.
