Softball Recap: Indian Creek Comes Up Short

Indian Creek lost against Serena back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Timberwolves lost 16-6 to the Huskers. The Timberwolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Allie Peterson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season.

Indian Creek's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Serena, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Indian Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashton-Franklin Center at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Serena, they will venture away from home to take on Kaneland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
