Volleyball Recap: Haughton Comes Up Short

Haughton lost against Ruston back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers lost 3-0 to the Bearcats. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-11.

Haughton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Ruston, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Haughton will take on Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ruston, after both having extra time off, they and Jackson Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th.
