Riverside is 6-1 against Madison since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Madison took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverside, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Riverside turned things around against Clarksburg on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 15-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Everything went Riverside's way against Madison when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Riverside made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
