Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Central Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Century Patriots 92-64. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Patriots are ranked second).

St. Mary's Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Century, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Central will face off against Dickinson at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Century, they will take on Minot at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
