Basketball Recap: Neah-Kah-Nie Piles Up the Points Against Vernonia

Neah-Kah-Nie won the last time they faced Vernonia and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-28 win over the Vernonia Loggers.

Neah-Kah-Nie now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Vernonia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Neah-Kah-Nie won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Westside Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westside Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Neah-Kah-Nie likes a good challenge. As for Vernonia, they and McLoughlin will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
