Soccer Recap: West Stokes Comes Up Short

West Stokes lost against Surry Central on October 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that West Stokes have lost by just one goal.

West Stokes has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Surry Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7-3.

West Stokes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Surry Central, they will square off against Ashe County at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
