Football Game Preview: Bradford Railroaders vs. Tri-Village Patriots

Bradford is 1-7 against Tri-Village since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Railroaders will face off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Bradford has given up an average of 49.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bradford's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Ansonia on Friday. They were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 48-0.

Meanwhile, Tri-Village strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They really took it to Dixie for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-6 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 694th).

Tri-Village's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Bradford was dealt a bruising 56-7 loss at the hands of Tri-Village in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Patriots' Trey Sagester, who threw for 249 yards and four TDs. Now that the Railroaders know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
