Baseball Recap: Delta Saints vs. Buckingham Charter Knights

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Buckingham Charter Knights, falling 12-5. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chase Parkinson put in work no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-5 win against Florin on the 5th. As for Buckingham Charter, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-3 loss against Vacaville Christian on the 4th.
