Volleyball Game Preview: Gaffney Indians vs. Riverside Warriors + How To Watch

The Gaffney Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Riverside Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Gaffney got the win against James F. Byrnes by a conclusive 3-0.

The victory didn't come easy: James F. Byrnes scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-22.

Riverside not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Eastside with a sharp 3-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Riverside was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.

Gaffney better focus on containing Corinne Christopher and Kaitlyn Haroski as the pair were huge in Riverside's win. Christopher had 17 assists and ten digs, while Haroski had three digs and two aces. Haroski has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Gaffney, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10-2.
