Winn made her presence known in Apache Junction's 21-6 victory
While Monday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Isabella Winn. On Monday she was dialed in and scored three runs while going 3-for-5. She played a big game the last time she faced Cortez, so the team probably should've seen her coming.
Winn and Apache Junction will be playing in front of their home fans against Tempe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Apache Junction is 8-0 against Tempe going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
