 It was a good run, but  Kennedy unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Tuesday. Their  rough  11-3 loss to the Cypress Centurions  might stick with them for a while. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kennedy in their matchups with Cypress: they've now lost five in a row.
 Kennedy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Katie Torrez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Elyssa Lape?a, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 On Cypress' side,  the team  relied heavily on  Taylor Monteleone, who  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 3-for-5.  Breana Townsend was another key contributor,  going 2-for-5 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double.
 Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Cypress, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record  this season.
 Kennedy will head out on the road to  challenge  Pacifica at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Pacifica is coming into the  matchup with ten straight  victories at home,  so Kennedy will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
