Desert Edge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-7 victory over Cienega. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Desert Edge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dayvon Standard led the charge by picking up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Standard is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Blake Roskopf was another key passer, throwing for 166 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

Desert Edge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
