Baseball Recap: Antonito Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Antonito, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over Non Varsity Opponent on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against Non Varsity Opponent last Monday, they had to take a 16-11 defeat.

Rylan Trant was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Octavian Martinez was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with six stolen bases and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Shyanne Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Antonito's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9.
