Volleyball Game Preview: Mauldin Mavericks vs. Dorman Cavaliers

Mauldin is 1-9 against Dorman since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Mavericks will take on the Cavaliers. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mauldin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Wade Hampton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Dorman got the win against Rock Hill on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Mauldin's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Dorman, their victory bumped their record up to 27-6.

Mauldin couldn't quite get it done against Dorman in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Mavericks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
