Lexington has gone a perfect 10-0 against White Knoll recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Lexington is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Dutch Fork, who was ranked 16th at the time (Lexington was ranked 22nd). The Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Silver Foxes a 14-0 shutout on Friday. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, White Knoll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of Cardinal Newman. That's two games in a row now that the Timberwolves have lost by just one run.

Dillon Woods led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-6 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Culley, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Lexington has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for White Knoll, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
