Nicole Carrasco put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Friday. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single walk in five consecutive appearances.
