Meanwhile, everything went Larimore's way against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] on Saturday as Larimore made off with a 64-44 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Larimore.
Larimore's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Myers, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Myers has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Avery Gratton, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine assists.
Dakota Prairie's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Larimore, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Dakota Prairie strolled past Larimore in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 59-45. Will Dakota Prairie repeat their success, or does Larimore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
