Basketball Recap: Lake Stevens Comes Up Short

Lake Stevens was the 56-51 winner over Glacier Peak when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Stevens Vikings took a 70-52 bruising from the Glacier Peak Grizzlies on Saturday.

Lake Stevens' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 16-7. As for Glacier Peak, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Lake Stevens nor Glacier Peak have any future games scheduled.
