Recap: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Seminole County Indians
The Bainbridge Bearcats were the 50-47 winner over the Seminole County Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bainbridge lost to Seminole County at home by a decisive 51-37 margin on Saturday.
Bainbridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyra Green, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was DaNydia Campbell, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Bainbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Seminole County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Bainbridge's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hardaway at 5:00 p.m. on January 16th. One thing working in Hardaway's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight contests. As for Seminole County, they will head out on the road to face off against Stewart County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
