Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Ione/Arlington

Ione/Arlington came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 50-32 win over the Sherman Huskies. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by exactly 18 points.

Ione/Arlington pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points over those games. As for Sherman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
