Soccer Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Valley Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Habra Highlanders. While losing is never fun, the Defenders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 419th, while the Highlanders are ranked 65th).

Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for La Habra, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Valley Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Glenn at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for La Habra, they will be taking part in a tournament against Santa Fe at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Fe will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something La Habra surely won't give up without a fight.
