Football Recap: Escambia County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Escambia County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 29-22 to the Orange Beach Makos. The Blue Devils lost against the Makos in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 38-6 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Escambia County lost, don't look at KJ Taylor. Despite the final result, he picked up 116 receiving yards and one score.

Escambia County's record now sits at 1-5. As for Orange Beach, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Orange Beach will face off against rival Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Aiden Kee and Ezavier Crowell.
