Recap: Tabb Tigers vs. New Kent Trojans
The Tabb Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a tough 72-46 loss at the hands of New Kent. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tabb in their matchups with New Kent: they've now lost six in a row.
Tabb lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Torrion Haywood, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Marbra, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tabb will challenge Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grafton will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. New Kent won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Charlottesville at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Charlottesville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than New Kent in Virginia (Charlottesville is ranked 18th, while New Kent is ranked 72nd).
