            Baseball Recap: Cheney Cardinals vs. El Dorado Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            It was a proper cat-fight when Cheney challenged El Dorado on Monday. The Cardinals skirted past the Wildcats  8-6. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Wildcats  on Monday, they had to take a  4-3  defeat.

 The team  relied heavily on  Josh Burdick, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Kaden Eck was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
Cheney's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for El Dorado, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheney will venture away from home to  take on Conway Springs  on Thursday. As for El Dorado, they will challenge Andale/Garden Plain at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67  runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
