Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Takes a Loss

Pendleton County fell victim to Jefferson and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Cougars. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcat in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Pendleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Jefferson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3-1.

Coming up, Pendleton County will challenge East Hardy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Cougars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
