Baseball Recap: Cuba Takes a Loss

Cuba lost against St. Clair back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 10-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cuba saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Doyle, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Doyle's first of the season.

Cuba's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for St. Clair, they moved to 5-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuba will challenge Hermann at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Clair, they will face off against Sullivan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
