Wonewoc-Center lost to Bangor back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wolves blew past the Cardinals 3-0.

Wonewoc-Center never let Bangor on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 25-16.

Wonewoc-Center found their leader in freshman Faith Daugs, who had 24 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Daugs. Avery Miller also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Wonewoc-Center was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Bangor had strong showings from Kennedy Hamilton, who had eight digs, and September Harris, who had five assists and three aces.

Wonewoc-Center's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Bangor, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12.

Wonewoc-Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Necedah on the 23rd. As for Bangor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Cashton on the 23rd.
