Meanwhile, Parkersburg Christian came up short against Calvary Baptist Academy on Monday, falling 58-35. Parkersburg Christian hasn't had much luck with Calvary Baptist Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Ignite Athletics will have to contain Joe Johnson as he made an impact in Parkersburg Christian's last game. He posted ten points and five steals. Johnson has become a key player for Parkersburg Christian: the team is 9-4 when he posts at least three steals, but 1-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Alexander Fluharty, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Parkersburg Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Ignite Athletics, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Ignite Athletics might still be hurting after the 54-33 loss they got from Parkersburg Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2024.
