Cypress put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the California Condors. This was payback for the Centurions, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Delaney 'D.J.' Faus made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she's brought in this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makayla Bishop, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Sanaiyah 'Naya' Cleland also deserves some recognition as she stole her first stolen base of the season.

Cypress' record now sits at 5-0. As for California, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Cypress will be taking part in a tournament against Villa Park at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for California, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Kennedy at 3:15 p.m. California's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Kennedy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
