Softball Recap: Nottoway Takes a Loss

Nottoway fell victim to Lunenburg Central and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since May 29, 2025.

Nottoway's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Lunenburg Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Nottoway will face off against rival Amelia County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lunenburg Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Prince Edward County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
