Softball Recap: 14 Straight Home Victories for Cedar Park Christian

Cedar Park Christian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Mountlake Terrace Hawks 11-1.

Shelby Southard was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Southard was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Southard is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabela Stewart, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Evoleht Stuhr, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Cedar Park Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.4 runs. As for Mountlake Terrace, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
