Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta extended their winning streak  to eight  on Friday, bumping their season record up to 8-0 in the process. They never let the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters get on the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six matchups by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Riley Asmus and  Ozzy Jerome did most of the damage at the plate:  Asmus  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Jerome  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Drew Huebner, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
As for Sauk Centre, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record  this season. Surprisingly, this marked their sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
 On Sauk Centre's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Evan Zales, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double.
 Looking ahead, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta will take on New London-Spicer at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sauk Centre, they will square off against Albany at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
