The West Geauga Wolverines will challenge the Jefferson Area Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. West Geauga is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, West Geauga came up short against Jefferson Area and fell 5-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Jefferson Area's part, Olivia Lewis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Allison Hill was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Rylee Demattia was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

The win (which was Jefferson Area's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for West Geauga, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
