Football Recap: Loranger Wolves vs. Franklinton Demons
Loranger lost against Franklinton back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves fell 20-7 to the Demons. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Loranger lost, don't look at Skyler Morgan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 133 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
A big part of Franklinton's win came down to the chemistry between Jacob Crain and his top target Jayden Burkhalter. Crain threw for 185 yards and a pair of TDs while Burkhalter picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Crain posted -4 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.
Loranger now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Franklinton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
