Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Center Point-Urbana

Center Point-Urbana proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Solon Spartans out 54-51. While the Stormin' Pointers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win was the fifth in a row for Center Point-Urbana, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Solon, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.
