Basketball Recap: Steele's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Steele had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Open Door Christian Patriots on Tuesday as the Steele Comets made off with a 43-23 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Comets have posted since November 26, 2024.

Steele's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14. As for Open Door Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

When Steele and Open Door Christian next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Steele will try to stop Fairview's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Open Door Christian will challenge Mansfield Christian and their 11-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
