Basketball Recap: Wilkinson County Comes Up Short

Wilkinson County lost against Amite County last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wilkinson County Wildcats fell to the Amite County Trojans 37-31.

Wilkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Amite County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.

Wilkinson County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-64 win against West Lincoln on the 3rd. As for Amite County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-36 defeat against Loyd Star on the 4th.
