Ider is a perfect 4-0 against Oakwood Academy since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will head out to take on the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Ider came up short against Fyffe and fell 2-0. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Oakwood Academy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Oakwood Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-12, 25-21, 25-20.

The victory got Oakwood Academy back to even at 11-11. As for Ider, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Ider took their win against Oakwood Academy when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
