Baseball Game Preview: Murray Spartans vs. Taylorsville Warriors

For the second straight game, Murray will face off against Taylorsville. The Spartans will head out to challenge the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Murray will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Murray earned a 7-4 victory over Taylorsville.

For Taylorsville's part, Isaac Woolley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run and one double. The Warriors are 3-1 when Woolley posts three or more hits, but 3-11 otherwise.

Murray pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Taylorsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
