Baseball Recap: Frontier Cougars vs. Belpre Golden Eagles
Frontier proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 22) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Belpre Golden Eagles 6-5. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.
Zerik Rinard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.
