Iola is 8-2 against Prairie View since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Iola Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Prairie View Buffalos at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Iola came up short against Burlington and fell 68-61. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Prairie View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Santa Fe Trail, falling 68-46. One positive for the Buffalos, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Iola now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Prairie View, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Iola against Prairie View in their previous meeting back in February, as the team secured a 70-40 victory. Does Iola have another victory up their sleeve, or will Prairie View turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
