Upperman had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 48-6 victory over the Fayetteville Tigers. With the Bees ahead 34-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Upperman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Palk, who rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Another passer making a difference was Bronzdon Chaffin, who threw for 98 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Upperman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 155 rushing yards in 16 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
