Basketball Game Preview: Irondale Knights vs. Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders

The Irondale Knights will challenge the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Irondale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season.

On Wednesday, Irondale ended up a good deal behind Osseo and lost 67-49. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Orioles 26-22 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Irondale got top-tier performance from Jake Dedominces, who posted 24 points. Dedominces' evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Fisher Killens, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, Cretin-Derham Hall put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 95-64 win over Park.

Irondale's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Irondale took a serious blow against Cretin-Derham Hall in their previous matchup back in January, falling 84-53. Can Irondale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
