Summit Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Chouteau-Mazie, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. Summit Christian Academy blew past Chouteau-Mazie 14-6 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bode Ridley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed over his last four matches. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caden Antle, who scored a run while going 4-for-5. He has become a key player for Summit Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cam Archer, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Summit Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will face off against Haskell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they will challenge Colcord at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
