Basketball Recap: Bluff Dale Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kallie Dotson and Allie Morris

Bluff Dale lost against Walnut Springs back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bluff Dale Bobcats fell to the Walnut Springs Hornets 42-37. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly five points.

Bluff Dale's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Allie Morris, who posted 25 points and three steals, and Kallie Dotson, who had six points in addition to 18 boards and four steals. Those 18 rebounds gave Dotson a new career-high.

Bluff Dale is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6. As for Walnut Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Bluff Dale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Iredell on the 20th. As for Walnut Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-12 defeat against Huckabay on the 20th.
