After flying high against Brunswick last Tuesday, Nokomis came back down to earth. The Nokomis Warriors came up short against the Gardiner Tigers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as their game on Thursday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Nokomis had strong showings from Jayden Hood, who had 17 digs and five aces, and Baylee Lord, who had nine digs, four kills, and three aces. Hood is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
